TOPCOAT PAINTS

A top-coat provides the first level of protection against the elements while at the same time transforming the car into a thing of true beauty. At KHOSH, this group includes three main classes:

Alkyd- melamine, polyester melamine and acrylic melamine.

(A) acrylic- melamine top coat:

Two main resins for this paint are acrylic and melamine. Acrylic melamine top coat can be sprayed by two methods (conventional and electrostatic system). The important properties are very high gloss, hardness, adhesion and water resistance, good flexibility and light fastness, acid, chemical and oil resistance.

(B) Polyester – melamine top coat

Two main resins for this paint are polyester and melamine. Polyester-melamine top coat can be sprayed by two methods (conventional and electrostatic system). It’s most important properties are high gloss, very good adhesion and hardness, suitable flexibility and good resistance to light, weather and moisture.

(C) alkyd- melamine top coat

Two main resins for this paint are alkyd (short oil) and melamine. Alkyd melamine top coat can be sprayed by two methods (conventional and electrostatic system). Some of the noticeable properties are high gloss, hardness and good adhesion, resistance to lubricants, water, light and atmosphere.
