Metallic paint and two coat paint
This paint uses two main resins, polyester or acrylic resin and cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB). Generally metallic paints in spite of having metal particles or pearlescent pigment can be sprayed by two methods (conventional and electrostatic system). Also paints without metal particles or pearlescent pigment called two coat paint. Because of using clear coat, it has some important properties like light fastness, humidity, chemical and carwash and also very suitable gloss. Metallic paint and two coat paint must be used with clear coat.
