Primer surfacer paints
A surfacer paint imparts smoothness to the paint film and weather resistance and chipping resistance against bouncing stones to prolong the durability of the car body. At KHOSH, this group includes the main class: polyester-melamine. That is supplied in both type of water borne and solvent based.
Solvent based polyester- melamine primer:
Two main resins for this primer are polyester and melamine. Polyester-melamine primer can be sprayed by two methods (conventional and electrostatic system). The most important properties are very high corrosion resistance in salt spray and humidity tests. It also has a high hardness and flexibility.
